Monday Mail - 4 November

4 Nov 2024 by Kate McDermott (Kate McDermott)

Welcome to Week 4 of Term 4!

Congratulations to all our students who participated in the concert yesterday! They were wonderful both on stage and back stage. We are so proud of them all and their efforts in class and their performances. We are also grateful to our team backstage who are inherent to the success of each concert.

TERM 4 INVOICES
We are currently following up unpaid or late accounts. We appreciate the effort made by families to pay fees on time and do ask that you contact us promptly if you are experiencing any financial hardship.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS
We want to ensure our records are accurate so we would like to remind families to let us know if your child is prescribed an Epi Pen.

UNIFORM ORDERS
We have extended the deadline to today only and cannot extend any further. If you would like to order any uniforms, please do so via the link below: They will arrive end of this year or early next year.

RHTC PERFORMANCE
Congratulations to all the students who performed at Rouse Hill Town Centre on Saturday as part of the celebrations for the arrival of Santa. This is always one of our favourite community events and we love the opportunity for our students to perform in a Christmas theme.

Intermediate and Pre-Senior students who were loaned a costume are required to bring it back to class this week to avoid a hire fee.

CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING
Due to child safety reasons, photos and photography are not permitted at Riverside Theatre. Riverside staff will request anyone recording the concert complies with this requirement. Patrons will be removed if they become aggressive and refuse to comply. We agree in principle with this child safe approach however even if we did no agree, as hirers of the theatre, we are obligated to uphold child safe practices set forth by Riverside Theatre. We would like to thank parents in advance for your cooperation.

The concert is being professionally filmed with the footage shared with all Caper families. We have also engaged a professional photographer and those photos are optional to purchase. The link to book and view the photos is below (please allow a few days for the photos to be uploaded after each concert):

TREATMENT OF STAFF
We wanted to remind families to treat our staff with respect and courtesy at all times. Aggressive and intimidating behaviour is unnecessary and inappropriate particularly given our setting in a family-friendly environment. We do believe that any concerns or feedback can be communicated in a way that is not intimidating, aggressive or cause distress to our staff.
